JUNE 23, 1919 - DEC. 3, 2007. PEACEFULLY WITH GRACE AND DIGNITY AT HOME, SURROUNDED BY HIS FAMILY. BORN IN NEW ROSS SON OF THE LATE JOHN WILLIAM GROSER LARDER SR. AND JANET "JENNIE" M. BOYLAN. PAT WAS A WELL KNOWN BUSINESSMAN OF THE COMMUNITY, MEMBER OF MASONIC LODGE AND ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION. IN LATER YEARS WAS A LAND DEVELOPER, WORLD TRAVELER WITH WIFE, NETA, AND AFTER HER DEATH WITH FAMILY MEMBERS TO CUBA. HE WAS A GREAT LOVER OF NATURE, WHICH HE HAS PASSED ON TO HIS FAMILY. HE WILL BE REMEMBERED BY EVERYONE FOR HIS GENEROSITY, KIND, AND LOVING WAYS. HE HAS NOW GONE HOME TO BE WITH HIS SOUL MATE. HE IS SURVIVED BY SONS, PATRICK, C.P. (DEBBIE), ALBERTA, DR. THOMAS "TOM" (HEATHER), BATHURST, DEREK (SHARON) FREDERICTON, JOSEPH "JOE" (DONNA), NEW ROSS, ROSCO (JO), SIERRA LEONE, WEST AFRICA, RONALD, KENTVILLE, TODD (SHIRLEY), BLOCKHOUSE; DAUGHTERS, BRENDA (JIM), CRESCENT BEACH, WANDA (SHELDON), TWYLA (NELSON), NEW ROSS; SISTER, DOROTHY "DOT" (LAWRENCE) WELNER, NEW ROSS; HIS GRANDCHILDREN, BILLY, KELLY, TONY LARDER, DR. DANNY TURNER, HEIDI JAMES, KAREN NELSON, STEVEN BROOME, SHEENA ISENOR, BELINDA BROOME, ELAINE, JAIME, RANDALL GATES, JASON, ROSS, TIFFANY, AMY, DEAN LARDER; GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, AUSTIN, JONAH, RHYS, ERIN, REBECCA, KADY, LIAM, EOIN, SCOTIA, JERYN AND MANY NIECES AND NEPHEWS. HE WAS PREDECEASED BY WIFE, MARY ONETA "NETA" LARDER (COOKE); BROTHERS, JOHN, JIM, PHILL, SISTER, MARY, GRANDDAUGHTER, TINA. VISITATION FOR MR. LARDER WILL BE HELD THURSDAY DECEMBER 6 FROM 6:30 - 9:00P.M. WITH A LEGION SERVICE AT 6:30 P.M. AND A MASONIC LODGE SERVICE AT 7:00 P.M. IN H.C. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME, 38 FORTIES RD., NEW ROSS (902-689-2961). FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT 11:00 A.M. FRIDAY DECEMBER 7 IN CHRIST ANGLICAN CHURCH, NEW ROSS. REV. LEONARD BEDNAR OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL TAKE PLACE IN CHRIST ANGLICAN CEMETERY. RECEPTION WILL FOLLOW IN THE NEW ROSS LEGION. FAMILY FLOWERS ONLY PLEASE, HOWEVER DONATIONS IN MEMORY MAY BE MADE TO THE CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY, CHRIST CHURCH, OR CHARITY OF YOUR CHOICE.
