43 of Welsford, Kings Co., passed away suddenly Sunday November 9, 2008 in her home. Born in Kentville, she was a daughter of the late Hilary and Marguerite (Dill) Curran. Pepper was working at Berwick Heights Golf Course and also worked as a cook in the Driftwood Restaurant in Berwick for many years. Pepper loved gardening and her Tim Hortons. She was well known for her kindness and always being there for anyone who needed her. She was a devoted mother to her children and loved her family deeply. Pepper will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. She is survived by her son, Trevor (Laura Blair) Pelton, Cambridge; daughters, Amanda (Rod Kelly) Pelton, Berwick; Amy Murphy, Welsford; Allyson Murphy, Welsford; brothers, Michael Curran, Kentville; James (Christie Woodworth) Curran, Waterville; David (Deanna) Curran, Aylesford; Raymond (Kelly Carty) Curran, Aylesford; Robert Curran, Canning; Jeffrey (Trudy Curran-Henshaw) Curran, Port Williams; sisters, Debra Curran, Wilmot; Margaret (Sonny) Reese, Waterville; Janet (Robert) Reese, Waterville; Nancy (Kenneth) Gould, Morristown; Kay (Don) Balch, Aylesford; 1 granddaughter, Jayden Kelly; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents , Pepper was predeceased by her husband, Darryl Herman; brother Ronald Curran. Visitation for Mrs. Herman will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Thursday November 13 in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S. B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900). A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday November 14 in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 120 Mill St., Berwick., Father Craig Christiansen officiating. Interment will take place in Berwick Cemetery. A reception will follow the committal service in the Church Hall.
