59, Wolfville passed away suddenly Thursday January 29, 2009 at his home, in Wolfville. Gary was employed at Revaron Lodge, Wolfville Post Office and Wolfville Recreation Center. He was licensed to teach social and ballroom dancing. Gary was a member of Wolfville United Baptist Church. He was a former member of the Kentville Legion and the Lauback Literacy Council. Gary is survived by brothers, Peter O'Brien, Wolfville, David O'Brien, Gaspereau; sisters, Rowena Coldwell, Gaspereau, Patricia Rubec, Fredericton, NB. He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Rachel O'Brien; brother Edward O'Brien, Wolfville, Howard O'Brien, Kentville; sisters, Marion O'Brien, Wolfville, Phyllis Doane, Kingston, Paula Shaw, Lockhartville. Visitation for the late Mr. O'Brien will be held from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Saturday January 31 in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home 568 Main St., Wolfville, N.S. (902-542-2151). A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday February 1 in Gaspereau Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Shaw officiating. Interment will take place in Gaspereau Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
