64, Victoria Harbour, Kings Co., passed away suddenly on Monday November 3, 2008, at home. Born in Victoria Harbour, he was a son of the late John and Edna (DeEll) MortonâBlair. Lewis had worked at farming and driving a tractor most of his life. He was an avid hunter, and enjoyed fishing, playing cards & games. Surviving are brothers, Earl, Aylesford Mountain; Lindsay, Port Lorne; Wilfred (Lillian Creemer), Don Mills, Ont.; Cecil Morton, Milton, N.H.; sisters, Linda (Ernie) White, Kingston; Mabel Johnson, New Minas; Janet Rhoddy, Penticton, B.C.; several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his companion, Virginia Clements; brothers, Vernon in infancy; Glen & Charles Morton; sister, Muriel Sherriff. Visitation for Lewis will take place 7-9 p.m. Thursday, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place 3 p.m. Friday November 7. Rev. Clyde Lowe officiating, with burial in the Aylesford Union Cemetery.
