81, formerly of Waterville, Kings Co. passed away Monday November 5, 2007, in Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. Born on July 10, 1926, in Waterville, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Bertha (Bent) Pelton. Frances thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful living experience at Parkstone Enhanced Care. She will be fondly remembered for her singing, jokes & smiles. A very special thank you is extended to the team at Parkstone Enhanced Care for their kindness & quality care. Surviving are her children, Ted Rafuse, Calgary; Linda (John) Todd, Bridgetown; Dorothy (Kenny) Chisholm, Halifax; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sons, Gerald & David Rafuse; three brothers; one sister. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will take place 3 p.m. Thursday November 15, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Rev. Freda MacDonald officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Parkstone Enhanced Care Recreations Dept., Halifax.
