82, of Wolfville, passed away Friday December 12, 2008 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Gaspereau Valley, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Edna Jordan. Doris was a resident of Wolfville for most of her life. She loved to look after her family. She will be fondly remembered as a âmother to all'. She enjoyed, baking, cooking, and working in her flower garden. Doris will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Doris is survived by her sons, Larry, Waterville, Garth (Ann), Wolfville, Stewart, Kelowna, BC., Bill (Myrna), Wolfville, Kirk (Kimberly), Calgary, AB., Michael (Marlo), Toronto; daughters, Gail (Roland) Carson, London, ON., Donna (Bill) Burlegh, ON., Debbie (Fred) Harvie, Porter's Point; brothers, Avard (Hannah), Gaspereau; sisters, Clara (Gordon) Rafuse, Berwick; 18 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Regan; brothers, Lennlie, Lawrence, Raleigh; sisters, Mildred Walsh, Nellie Milbury, Frances Davison. Visitation for Mrs. Regan will be held from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday December 16 in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home 568 Main St., Wolfville (902-542-2151). A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday December 17 in the Gaspereau Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Shaw officiating. Interment will take place in Willowbank Cemetery, Wolfville.
