75, Auburn, Kings Co. It is with sadness that her family announce the death of Marion on Friday, September 25, 2009, at home. Born in Bear River East, Marion was the daughter of the late John and Jennie (Jefferson) Tupper. She is survived by her husband, Paul Prout, at home; daughter, Lynda (Martin) Rose, Westfield, Ma.; sister, Joyce (Vernon) Hawkes, Hunts Point; brother, Douglas (Gloria) Tupper, Round Hill; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Hoyle-Mood, North Kemptville; Hazel Cosman-Mood, Carleton; Pearle Prime, Lake Echo/Pubnico; many nieces and nephews. Marion was a faithful member of the Aylesford Baptist Church, and served God faithfully, ministering through her good deeds and many church organizations. In later years she brought devotions to others through her weekly Radio Program on C.V.C.R. She was educated in Bear River East and attended Bridgewater Vocational College, working for Household Finance Corporation and the Registrar of Deeds for a number of years, before marrying Emery Brown and moving to Aylesford. Many years after his death she married Paul Prout, a member of the same church she attended. She had also been employed for a number of years at the Annapolis Valley Regional Library in Berwick. Marion and Paul enjoyed their many visits with Paul's sister, Phyllis and Rev. and Mrs. Clyde Lowe. A special thanks from the family to Rev. and Mrs. Clyde Lowe for all their help at such a difficult time. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Emery Brown; brother, Clair Jefferson Tupper, in infancy. Visitation for Marion will take place 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 1, in the Aylesford Baptist Church, 2543 Hwy # 1, Aylesford. Rev. Clyde Lowe officiating, assisted by Lic. Micheal Fredericks, with burial in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Aylesford Baptist Church, the C.V.C.R.
