45, Waterville, Kings Co., formerly of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away Monday, November 2, 2009, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of John Wade, Edmonton and the late Angela (Grainger) Taylor. Besides her father, John Wade, she is survived by a daughter, Morgan McCarthy, at home, Coldbrook, who is attending Mount Saint Vincent University; son, Alexander McCarthy, at home, Coldbrook; step-father, David Taylor, Waterville. She was predeceased by her mother, Angela Taylor. In accordance with Cathy's wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service has taken place in the East Black Rock Cemetery. There will a Memorial Service for Kathy at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 15, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), Chaplain Jim Norton officiating.
