88, Kentville, passed away peacefully, Saturday April 25, 2009 at Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown. Born in Canada Creek (Black Rock), Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Charles Keezer and Mary Parsons. Nellie was employed with Scotian Gold for 38 yrs. where she retired as manager of the successful farm market. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Leslie Wilson; step children, Wanda (Haris) Hristopoulos; Eric (Dawna) Tibbetts; Doris (Donny) Millett; Ellen Smith; Sandra (Gordon) Crutcher; Ken (Faye) Tibbetts; Laurie (Debbie) Tibbetts; grandchildren, Michelle Hershbarger; Michael Wyse; Russell Jr. Wyse; Steven Wyse; Monique Kellar; step grandchildren, Calvin Millett; Jordan & Nicole Tibbetts; Michelle Millett; Cheryl Skiffington & many others. Besides her parents, Nellie was predeceased by her husband, Harold Wilson; son, Morris Wilson; daughter, Deanna Wyse; her partner of 40 yrs., Fred Tibbetts; brothers, Stanley; Walter; Charles; Wilfred; Kempton; Harold; James; sisters, Muriel; Elizabeth & Jean. There will be no visitation by the family's request. A funeral service followed by a reception will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday April 29 in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home 5 Leverett Ave., Kentville, N.S. B4N 2K5 (902-678-2151). Rev. Thelma McLeod officiating. A private interment will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to Valley Regional Hospital Foundation, Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or a charity of choice.
