91, Somerset, Kings Co. passed away Friday May 9, 2008, in the Grand View Manor, Berwick, two months to the day short of his 92nd. birthday. Born in Harbourville, Kings Co. he was a son of the late Charles and Alice (Foley) Wheaton. Aubrey had worked at Fuller's Farm in Welsford and in construction work with Lester Rawding. He also worked with the Department of Highways and Easson's Transport Ltd., Berwick, as a heavy equipment operator, retiring in 1981. Aubrey attended church locally. Surviving are his children, David (Lynda), Hamilton, Ont.; Garnet (Kay), Somerset; Rev. Brian (Eva), Morristown; Paul (Heidi), Lancaster, PA..; Darrell (Susan), Edmonton, Alb.; Donna (Tom) Braun, Sylvan Lake, Alb.; Kevin (Lea), Kentville; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Arthur, Grafton; Elwood, Windsor; sisters, Vera Geddes, Dartmouth; Ruth Chandler, Whycocomagh; Pauline (Eric) Jordan, Berwick; several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Bishop); son, Wesley G.; brothers, George, William & Joseph; sister, Helen Bosworth. Visitation will take place 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Tuesday May 12, in the Morristown United Baptist Church, 6557 Aylesford Rd., Morristown. Rev. Elizabeth Johnson officiating, with burial in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to World Vision Canada, Grand View Manor or any charity.
