71, Auburn, Kings Co., formerly of Waterville, Kings Co. passed away at home on March 22, 2008. Born in Berwick, Kings Co. she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Lula (Loomer) Foster. Surviving are her son, Glen (Ivy Lee) Weaver, Scarborough, Ont.; daughter, Patty (Ted) Llewellyn, Cambridge Station; grandsons, Rod & Alex; brother, Donald (Glenda) Foster, Grafton; sisters, Janet (Alan Doucette) Lutz, Berwick; Ruth (Ron Martin) Foster, Coldbrook; Norma Giffin, Berwick; sister-in-law, Pat Foster, Stoney Creek, Ont.; several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a stillborn son, Douglas James; brothers, Kenneth & Ronald Foster; sister-in-law, Marilyn Foster. Margaret managed & owned the R. & M. Variety Store in Waterville for 25 years, where she became a friend to all who came into the store. She was an active member of the Kingston United Baptist Church. Her generosity & kindness to others will always be remembered. Margaret will be missed by her best pal, "Rocky" the dog. There will be visitation Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Funeral service will take place 3 p.m. Wednesday March 26, in the Kingston United Baptist Church, 695 Hwy # 1, Kingston. Rev. Leon Langille officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Kingston United Baptist Church or to the Berwick Safe Haven (Cat Shelter).
