82, Canning, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2007, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Centreville, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late George and Elsie (Rafuse) Rogers. Mrs. Weaver was a long-time member of Canning United Church. She loved to make quilts to share with her many family and friends. She enjoyed listening to old country music, and her grandchildren's visits. She always looked forward to going shopping at Frenchy's. Mrs. Weaver will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Mrs. Weaver is survived by son, David (Linda), Coldbrook; daughters, Margaret (Avery Vaughan), Greenwich; Sylvia (Ronald Wood), Coldbrook; Brenda (Paul Huntley), Wolfville; Heather Weaver, Darlene (Donald Rogers), Pereau; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, David Weaver; sons, Eric David and Harold; daughters, Mary and Sharon; brother, Johnny Rogers; sister, Effie Rogers. Visitation for Mrs. Weaver will be from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, with a funeral service on Wednesday at 3 p.m., both in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 5 Leverett Ave., Kentville (902-678-2151), Pastor Virgina DeAader officiating, with a reception following the services in the funeral home. Burial in Habitant Cemetery, Canning.
