It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Margo (Kervin) Wirig on Monday, October 26, 2009, at her home in Annapolis MD. Margo was a loving and devoted wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Margo was born in Canning, Kings Co., to Helen and the late Bob Kervin. Margo's life journey took her to Virginia at the age of 16 to live and study at the home of her cousins Joy and Chris Bolta and their family. Margo graduated from Washington Business School in Washington, D.C. Margo married Marc Wirig over 40 years ago. They lived in Madison, Wisconsin for many years where she worked and raised their two children - the loves of her life - Peter and Emily. Margo and Marc reside in Annapolis, Maryland. Margo was very accomplished with hobbies including knitting, needlework, quilting and painting. Margo and Marc, along with their children journeyed home to visit most summers.
