Obituary of Frances Theresa Lavallee

Lavallee, Frances Theresa - age 92 of Berwick, passed away peacefully in Grandview Manor on April 21, 2013. Born in New Ross on February 26, 1921, She was a daughter of the late Hadden and Alma (O’Leary) Rafuse. Frances will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by sons Barry(Nancy) Lavallee, Kentville, Shane(Peggy Baxter)Lavallee of Berwick; daughters Faye (Roy) Prichard of Calgary, AB, Christina( Paul Dykens)Andrews of Waterville, Jackie Lavallee of Halifax; grandchildren Jodi and Alan Prichard, Evan and Mike Lavallee, and Sophie Rousselle; great- grandchildren Alexandria and Matthew Jost; brothers Max (Isabelle) Rafuse, Robert (Lorraine) Rafuse, Wade (Virginia) Rafuse, Ernie Rafuse; sisters, Beatrice Rafuse, Loretta Crawford also several nieces and nephews.Frances was predeceased by husband Ronnie; brothers, Verol and Curtis ; sisters Madeline Walker, Carmen Canning, Mable Crossley and granddaughter Bobbi-Lynn Andrews and son in law Ronnie Andrews.It was no secret that Frances enjoyed a good conversation with her family and friends. Frances will be dearly missed by her children.Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at 7pm in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, Berwick Chapel (192 Commercial Street). Funeral service will be held on Thursday April 25, 2013 at 2pm in St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Berwick, with Fr. Craig Cameron officiating. Followed by a burial in the Berwick Cemetery.
