Obituary of Sherry Connors-Pitts

Connors-Pitts, Sherry - with members of her immediate and extended family around her, Sherry gently and gracefully drew her last breath on 16 February, 2013, leaving behind her beloved husband, Lawrence Pitts and family. Mom to five children, Brian (deceased December 2011), Cathy Matheson (Kevin deceased August 1994 - Hantsport), Wendy Connors-Beckett (Andrew- Saint John), Shawn Connors (Sarah- South Carolina) and Stacey Van Blarcom (Stephen- Hantsport) and three step children Randy Pitts (Kim- Dartmouth), Tim Pitts (Jackie- Bishopville), and Scott (Angie- Black River Lake). Sherry loved her family deeply and took great delight in playing with her many grand children both genetic and acquired. Her grand children in birth order are Tara, Jennifer, Jason, Ashley, Matt, Kayleigh, Brian, Adam, Christian, Jordan, Wesley, Bronwyn, Jesse, Katie, Shyloh, Nikolas, Jillian and great granddaughter Eden. And if that wasn't enough to fill a heart, Sherry had room for more. She accepted the role of Gramma to the children of her children's friends gratefully and lovingly. Whether with her humour, generosity or beautifully hand crafted quilts, Sherry touched many lives and hearts. Hers was a life well lived. She is resting at Serenity Funeral Home in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, no visitation. Funeral Service will Tuesday February 19 at 11am, St. James United Church, Hantsport, Nova Scotia. Sherry's family would like to thank the health care team and nursing staff on Unit 200 for their exceptional care for patient and family.
