Obituary of Katherine Crabbe

Crabbe, Katherine Curtis ( Northrup )-83 Berwick, NS formerly of Greenwood, NS passed away peacefully in the Grandview manor on January 11,2013 with daughter Olga by her side. Born in St. John, NB she was the daughter of the late Gordon Freeman and Olga Curtis (King) Northrup In her lifetime she valued her home and family and especially enjoyed her time camping with Jamie and the dogs, Poo bear and Tammy. She was a wonderful baker and cook and is remembered fondly for her banana bread and chow. Katherine leaves behind companion of 35 years, James Clark of Greenwood, NS; Son Robert of Paris, ON; daughters Betty Bona of Mt.Uniack, NS and Olga Crabbe of Lower Sackville, NS. Besides her parents Katherine is predeceased by husband Thomas, granddaughter Kerry lynn and on November 9, 2012 beloved son Douglas. Keeping with her wishes there will be a short funeral service at the H.C Lindsay funeral home, Berwick at 2 PM on Monday January 14, 2013 Followed by a burial in the Tremont Cemetery, with Pastor Linda Davidson officiating. Donations in Katherine’s memory may be made to the IWK Children’s Wish Foundation or charity of choice.
