Morine, Murray Allison – 85, of Wolfville; passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 in the Evergreen Home for Special Care, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, he was a son of the late John and Ida (Pinch) Morine. Murray was a hard working man all of his life. He worked for the Department of Works in the Town of Wolfville for most of his working years. His family remember him being “connected at the hip” with his loving wife of 60 years and was supportive of everything she did. Murray will be dearly missed for being thoughtful and caring to everyone he met. He was predeceased by his wife Geogina (Haines) in 2006; and brothers Walter, Alfred, and Bill. Murray’s memory will be cherished by his daughters Heather (Ken Gordon) Morine, Wolfville; Judy (Henry) Messom, Woodville; grandchildren Jennifer and Joel Messom, Woodville; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 11, 2013 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 568 Main Street, Wolfville; from where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating; followed by a burial in the Willowbank Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Evergreen Home for Special Care for all their love and care shown to Murray and his family. They would also like to thank the family of his roommate of three years, Bill Barbour; for all their love and support presented to their dad. In lieu of flowers; donations in memory of Murray made to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by his family.
