Russell, Nora E. â age 77 years of Kentville, passed away peacefully at the Valley Regional Hospital on April 15, 2013. Born in Sherbrook, NS on November 10, 1935; she was the youngest daughter of the late Robert and Sarah (Renouf) Clooney. Left with fond and loving memories are her children William Woodworth of Canning, Barry (Shelly) Woodworth of New Minas and Beverly Ann Allen of Canning; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Glendon. Nora was very active in the community and volunteered whenever she could at many different organizations and clubs. She was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 Ladies Auxiliary in Kentville, member and former president of the New Minas 50 Plus Club, former president of the Highfield Seniors Club, member of the Coldbrook Apple Valley Seniors Club and a volunteer at the New Minas Fire Dept. A celebration of Noraâs life will be held on April 26, 2013 at 6pm from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 (37 River St, Kentville) with Pastor Sterling Gosman officiating. A time of refreshments and sharing of memories will follow. In memory of Nora, donations made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6 Ladies Auxiliary would be greatly appreciated by her family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home and Crematorium, Wolfville Chapel (568 Main St, Wolfville).
