Obituary of Joyce Allene Filippone

Filippone, Joyce Allene – age 80 years of Grandview Manor; passed away peacefully on March 30, 2013. Born in Halifax on August 14, 1932; she was the daughter of the late James Allen and Etta (Eisan) Pritchard. Joyce was a dedicated member of the ALS society of Nova Scotia and the Lionettes. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband of 56 years Anthony; sons Michael (Delcia) of Lower Sackville and Bradley of Halifax; sister Dorothy Chase of Fredericton; grandchildren Christopher (Telicia) and Korinne; great grandchildren Kaydem and Elijah; also by several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Joyce’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 1:00pm from the Serenity Lindsay Berwick Chapel (192 Commercial Street, Berwick) with Canon David Boston officiating. The family would like to extend a big Thank You to the ALS society of NS for all the helpfulness and support that was given to Joyce.
