MacLean, Chester Andrew â 83, of Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany passed away on February 17, 2013 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Elmwood, he was a son of the late Daniel and Hazel (Robinson) MacLean. Chester was retired from the Canadian Armed Forces, Canada Black Watch Regiment. He is survived by his sisters Virginia Wolfe; Charlotte Burns; brothers William; Daniel; Father Gordon; and several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 115 Pleasant Street, Bridgewater celebrated by Father Gordon MacLean followed by reception. In lieu of flowers donations in Chesterâs memory may be made to the Rosedale Home for Special Care or to a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, Nova Scotia B0P 1E0.
