DAVIDSON, Jeffrey Brighton -- It is with great sorrow that the family of Jeffrey Brighton Davidson announce his passing. Jeffrey Brighton Davidson passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 9, 2010, in the VG Site, QEII in Halifax after a brief and very courageous battle with cancer. Jeffrey was born in Wolfville, the son of the late Lowell and Barbara (Pinch) Davidson. Jeffrey was an extremely accomplished tradesperson, who was particularly proud of his woodworking skills. These were clearly evident in all of his creations. His seismic work took him to a wide variety of countries, from Russia to Africa, Alberta and Madagascar, Mexico and Central America. Jeff was a dedicated husband, father and true friend to those who knew him. He was also well- known by his family and friends for his extremely generous nature. He maintained a great love for his family, an unparalleled zest for life and a sense of humour which he carried to the end. Jeff also loved gardening and took great pride in his beautiful variety of flowers and lilies which he planted all around his property. Jeff is survived by his wife, Lynn (Elliott) Davidson; children, Nora (Nathan Stevens), Kentville; sons, Tyler, Yellowknife, N.W.T, and Neil, Banff, Alta. Jeff is also survived by his siblings, Kevin (Chris) Davidson, Toronto, and sister, Peggy (Daryl) Isnor, Gaspereau. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to invite all family and friends to an informal celebration of his life at their home at 65 Eden Row, Greenwich, Saturday February 13, from 2-4 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
