REID, Kathleen Idella ?쳌 92, Kentville, formerly of New Minas, passed away March 10, 2010, in Evergreen Home For Special Care, Kentville. Born in Lake Ramsay, Lunenburg Co., she was a daughter of the late Osburne and Julia (Legge) Keddy. Kathleen was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a member of Christ Anglican Church, New Ross. She is survived by daughters, Shirley Shupack, Edmonton; Hattie (Sylvester "Bud") Moore, Truro; Doris (Ivan) Pick, New Minas; Gloria (Greg) Hiltz, New Minas; Sylvia (Carl) Dominey, Halifax; son, James (Judy) Reid, New Minas; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren; sisters, Melba Swinamer, Amherst; Mabel MacDonald, Norwich, Conn.; brother- in-law, Prescott Lake, Falmouth and sister-in-law, Eva Keddy, New Minas. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harry Reid; son, Arthur; grandson, Todd Graves; granddaughter, Carleen Shupack; daughter-in-law, Marge Reid; sons-in-law, Murray Delaney, Tony Shupack; sister, Doris and five brothers. There will be no visitation. The funeral service will be Saturday March 13 at 2 p.m. in H. C. Lindsay Funeral Chapel, Kentville. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital or to the Victorian Order of Nurses Kings Branch. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H. C.
