Obituary of Terrance Russell

RUSSELL, Terrance Wayne "Terry" - 58, of New Ross, passed away peacefully Friday, March 26, 2010, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in New Ross, he was a son of Maxine (Lenihan) and the late Howard Russell. Terry loved socializing with his friends and family and enjoyed playing cards with them especially crazy eights. He will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. Terry is survived by his mother, Maxine; brothers, Barry Russell, John (Lynanne) Russell, Bruce Russell, David (Amy) Russell, Kevin Russell, Wayne (Peter) Russell; sisters, Betty (Russie) Skerry, Pauline (Royce) Levy, Barb (Greg) Levy, Mary Reeves, Patricia (Tony) Rafuse, Tina Russell; several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Billy Russell. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 29 in H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home & Crematorium P.O. Box 4, 38 Forties Rd., New Ross, NS B0J 2M0 (902-689-2961). A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 30 in Christ Anglican Church, New Ross. Rev. Frances Boutilier officiating. Interment will take place in Christ Anglican Church Cemetery. A reception will follow in the New Ross Farmer's Association Centre on the fairgrounds. Terry was in various rehabilitation centres in Nova Scotia and the staff always took excellent care of him. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to any rehabilitation centre in Nova Scotia. Terry was most recently in Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville, where the staff were especially kind to him.
