TAYLOR, Keith Roscoe, 73, Kingsport, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5, 2010 at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Canning, he was a son of the late Lewis and Vera (Spicer) Taylor. Before his retirement, he was employed with Canada Packers as a maintenance man, electrician, and trained welder. One of his greatest joys was spending time at - the camp쳌 over to - the shore쳌. Keith was very passionate about tending his garden, and this brought him great pleasure; with family and friends always supplied with plenty of tomatoes and cucumbers. Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Laura (Schofield) Taylor, daughter Leola (Ashford) Crawford, grandson Steven (Melissa) Hughes, great granddaughters Elizabeth and Emily Hill, brother Lawrence (Joan) Taylor, sister Marlene (John) Reid, mother-in-law Roxie Mae Schofield, and step brothers James (Betty) Rogers, and Don (Mary Ann) Rogers, and many nieces and nephews.. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by daughter Leslie Hughes, granddaughter Shauna ( Hughes) Hill, step-mother Goldie Taylor, and his father-in-law Edward Schofield. Cremation has taken place, and visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, NS, on Wednesday, April 7, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. A Graveside Service will take place on Thursday, April 8, 2010, at 12:00 PM at Habitant Cemetery, Habitant, with Rev. David Garrett officiating. Donations in Keith?¢s memory may be made to the ALS Society or to a charity of one?¢s choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, NS, B4P 1E7.
