SCHOFIELD, Nettie Seva Rosella (Atwell), 90, Greenwich, formerly of Greenfield, Kings Co. It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce her passing on May 10, 2010, at Shannex Blomidon Court, Greenwich. Born October 16, 1919, in Black River, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Nettie Atwell. She is survived by all ten of her children, Nelson (Anita), Port Williams; Gloria - Dot쳌, Montreal; Myra, Greenfield; Constance - Connie쳌 (Harlen) Harris, Greenfield; Gail (Dalton)West, New Minas; Betty Northrop, Lower Vaughan; Perry (Linda) Debolt, Alberta; David, New Minas; Kathryn (John) Sullivan, New Minas; and Avery (Penny) Greenfield; 31 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Leslie - Buster쳌 Schofield, and grandsons Neal Schofield and Dwight Davison, brothers Vincent, Marchant, Elmer, Clinton, and Wylie, sisters Alice Greenland, Amy Rowe, Susie Dykens, Elsie Clarke, Lexie Levy, Evangline Atwell, and Florence Schofield . She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mom enjoyed knitting, sewing, embroidery, reading and loved her bingo and John Wayne. Visitation will take place at Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorim, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, May, 13, 2010, at 2:30, from the Gaspereau Baptist Church with Lay Chaplain Jim Norton officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery. Family flowers only and donations in Nettie?¢s memory may be made to The Greenfield Cemetery or to a charity of ones choice. A special thank you from the family to the care givers now and over the past few years.
