LENIHAN, Frances "Jean" Marie ?ì³ 87, New Ross passed away peacefully in Valley Regional Hospital on May 14, 2010. She was a daughter of the late George and Alice (Lenihan) Naugler. She loved being a homemaker and was an avid gardener. She was the first cook at the Highwayman Restaurant and became well known for her fabulous rolls, chowders and pies. She is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Webster; daughter, Mavis (John) Kaulback, Coldbrook; sons, Barry (Mona), Basil (Joan), New Ross; grandchildren, Tim (Debbie), Edmonton; Pam (Wayne Bowlby), Chester; Andrew (Glenda Collicutt), Chester; Krista (Frank Day), Bridgewater; Kathy Williams (Delbert Sawler), Mahone Bay; Robert (Crystal), Centreville; David Kaulback (Gina Walsh), Bridgewater; Janette (Stephen Rayne), Lower Sackville; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ella Leary, Mary Dorey, Faye Lenihan and Doris Weisner; brothers, Harvey, Morris and Billy. Besides her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Madeline, Marge, Joyce, Della, Patsy; and a brother, George. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.C. Lindsay Funeral Homes & Crematorium P.O. Box 4, 38 Forties Rd., New Ross, NS, B0J 2M0 (902-689-2961). No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held Tuesday May 18, at 2 p.m. in Christ Anglican Church, New Ross with Rev. Frances Boutilier officiating. Interment will be in Christ Anglican Church Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in her memory may be made to Christ Anglican Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to the charity of one's choice.
