LOCKHART (Carr), Jean Mildred?쳌 Wolfville, passed away peacefully at home on May 28, 2010. Born in Three Mile Plains, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Eunice (Lynch) Carr. Jean is survived by her only daughter, Heather Gordon, North York, Ont.; grandsons, Brad and Steve Gordon, Toronto, Ont.; sister, Mary Hines, New Minas; mom's very special friend, Sue Bowser, Hammonds Plains. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, William "Bill"; brothers, Ralph, Orrison, Ron, and sister Ethel Morris. Jean was an active member of the Silver and Gold Seniors Group. Many people will remember Jean as their Avon Lady. Mom loved her cats and working in her gardens. She will be remembered as a kind and loving lady with a keen sense of humor. Thank you to Jean's home care "sweethearts" who took such good care of mom. There will be no visitation. A committal service will be held Tuesday June 1 at 1 p.m. in Willowbank Cemetery, Wolfville with Lay chaplain Jim Norton officiating. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made in Jean's memory to your local SPCA or charity of choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation, 568 Main St., Wolfville, NS B4P 1E7.
