HILTZ, Mirva Ione - 97 - Harbourville, Kings Co., passed away at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, on Friday, July 30, 2010. Born in Maplewood, Lunenburg Co., on October 18, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Rhetty (Wentzell) Frank. Mirva was a homemaker who took great pride in providing her family and friends with great food and lots of love. She worked for a short time at the former Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Berwick, which gave her great pleasure and satisfaction. Mirva is survived by son-in-law, Emerson (Joy Veinotte) Banks; granddaughters, Nesta (John) D?¢Entremont; Anita (Charlie) Keddy; Stacey (Polly Hurlburt) Banks; grandsons, Skyler Banks; Jaime (Crystal) Banks; step-granddaughter, Kendra Schaeffer; great-grandchildren, Amber-Lea, Cebrina-Lyn, Brittany, Dominique, Lucas and Elizabeth; great-great-granddaughter, Ellen; sisters, Althea Sarty; Dara Best; brothers, Robert and Hartley Frank; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mirva was predeceased by husband, Miles, daughter, Debra, sisters, Vivian McGill, Ida Morse, Myrtle Bishop; infants, Iris and Inis; as well, brother, Wendell Frank. Visitation for Mirva will be held from 7-9 p.m., on Sunday, the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, August 2. Pastor Tim Bigelow officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mirva may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation, Kentville or to a charity of your choice.
