RAFUSE - TURNER, Eileen Evelyn - Berwick, Kings Co., passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Upper Dyke, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Reginald and Daisy Belle (Burgess) Schofield. Eileen was a member of the Morristown Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Robert Rafuse, Berwick; grandchildren, Debbie Rafuse, Digby; Sherry (Duncan) Crowell, Porters Lake; Darrell (Carolyn) Rafuse, Cobourg, Ont.; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph (Louise) Schofield, Yarmouth; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husbands, Cecil Rafuse and George Turner; son, Karl Rafuse; brothers, Reginald Jr., Roy and James Schofield. Visitation for Eileen will take place on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place 1 p.m., Friday, August 13. Rev. Brian Wheaton officiating, with burial Berwick Cemetery. Immediate family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation or to the Morristown Baptist Church. Eileen?¢s family would like to say a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff on Medical A and Medical B Extension at the Valley Regional Hospital and to friends, Diane Jones, Marg and Harley Lutz for the care and compassion.
