PICK, Harland Leroy, 76, Greenfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at home. Born in White Rock on September 20, 1933, he was a son of the late Arthur and Jennie (Smith) Pick. Throughout his life, Harland was a pipeline welder, service station owner and operator, teacher, and an enthusiastic member of TEAM Monavie. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, working with animals, travelling, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren and family brought him great joy and pleasure. Harland is survived by his loving wife Donna (Simm) Pick, Greenfield; children Bradley, Snow Lake, Manitoba; Arthur (Brenda), Centre Rawdon; Harlene (Steve Wiseman), West Gore; Shelley, West Gore; Brian (Robyn), Belleville, Ontario; brothers Albert (Ollie), Greenfield; and Wayne (Avis) of Greenfield; as well as 11 grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Lloyd and Brian and sister-in-law, Bette. Cremation has taken place and no visitation by Harland?¢s request. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the M.O.R.E. A celebration of Harland?¢s life will be held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Rawdon Hills United Church in Upper Rawdon.
