Obituary of Gerald Everett Hartt

Hartt, Gerald Everett - 74, Lockhartville Died November 24 2010, in Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Mount Denson he was a son of the late Royce and Alfreda (Peach) Hartt. Gerald was employed for 35 years with Kings County School Board as a bus driver, then as School Bus Foreman. Gerald loved to ride his 4 wheeler back to the hunting camps to visit his friends. Gerald is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Vivian (West); children, Kenneth (Heather), their children Candice, Kane; Charlene (Mike) all of Avonport; Jocelyn, her children, Kyle, Kody, Canning. Crystal, her son Jason of Centreville; sisters Pauline, Martock, Rita (Lorne), Anne (Jim) both of Falmouth; Joyce (Allen), Jeddore, Beatrice (David), Mount Denson, Joan (Maurice), Vaughans, Lorna, Avonport, Lorraine, Ont; brother Garth (Nancy), Falmouth; sister in-law Judy, Mount Denson. Besides his parents Gerald was predeceased by Brothers Carleton, Colin, and Lorne. There will be a private family burial in Mount Denson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Nova Scotia's liver-transplant program or the Hantsport Fire Department.
