MARTIN (Lightfoot), Jean Louise - Jeanie쳌 - 65, Cambridge Station, Kings Co., passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at home. Born in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Christina (Lake - Baldridge) Chase. Jeanie had been employed at the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville, for several years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Surviving are her husband, G. Paul Martin, Cambridge Station; sons, Jason (Donna) Lightfoot, Woodville; Troy (Lisa) Lightfoot, Coldbrook; daughter, Kimberly (Dana) DeEll, Viewmount; grandchildren, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Haley, Riley and Shelby; step-children, Tania (Al) Berringer; John (Sharry) Martin, all of Dartmouth; Christopher (Stephanie) Martin, Bridgewater; step-grandchildren, Spencer, Benjamin and Jack; sisters, Rosie (Leo Gould) Reid and Mary Lou Little, all of Waterville; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Edward Chase. Visitation for Jeanie will take place from 7-9 p.m., Friday, in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2. Pastor Tim Bigelow officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Palliative Care Program of Annapolis Valley Health.
