Obituary of Tabitha Faye Harvey

HARVEY, Tabitha Faye, Newport Corner. It is with heavy hearts that the family regrets to announce the passing of their spirited beloved daughter, sister, mother and partner, on Saturday October 16, 2010 at age 38. Born March 1, 1972, in Windsor, Hants County, NS., she was the daughter of Andy and Wanda (Kelley) Harvey of Ardoise, NS. Along with her parents, she is survived by her common-law partner Andy Penny, her son Alexander Dalton, brothers; Andrew (Kathy) Harvey and Monte (Tammy) Harvey, maternal grandmother Maxine Kelley, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Tabitha graduated from Hants West Rural High School, the School of Cosmotology and was employed as a hair dresser. She enjoyed horseback riding, competitive trail riding, bluegrass music, `Four Wheeling`, camping in `Baby Poo`, and spending time with her many friends and family. Tabitha was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Herman and Mildred (Cochrane) Harvey and maternal grandfather Albert Kelley. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at Brooklyn Civic Centre on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Tabitha may be made to the Ardoise Community Hall or to a charity of one`s choice.
