Obituary of Donald Joseph Gray

GRAY, Donald Joseph - 67, Aylesford Lake, Kings Co., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Clifford and Olive Gray. Donald was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 34 years until his retirement in 1996. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Faith (Fernandez) Gray, Aylesford Lake; children, Carrie (Allen) Coyle, Dartmouth; Craig (Carrie), Middle Sackville. His life revolved around his family, especially his five grandchildren, Marisa, Tyler, Kaelie, Ryan and Megan, who will all miss their - granddad쳌 so very much. He is also survived by brothers, Orville (Diane) and Basil (Judy), all of Halifax; sisters, Pauline (Harold) Murphy, Halifax; Patricia (William) Coolen, Lower Sackville; Doreen (Loran) Doyle, Shubenacadie; Roseanne (Ken) Blackwood, Halifax; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a nephew, David. There will be no visitation. Funeral service for Donald will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 22, in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900).
