CROFT, Sylvia Elaine 64, Kentville passed away suddenly in Dartmouth. Born in Westport, Brier Island, Digby County Nova Scotia she was a daughter of the late Bernard - Aceì³ and Lily (Sullivan) McDormand. Sylvia was a very kind and giving to everyone she knew. Sylvia loved photography and video, she would be seen often taking photos or videoing an event. She loved going to variety shows where she often sat in the front row. Sylvia was a member of the Forest Hill Baptist Church, Wolfville Ridge. Sylvia will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her. Sylvia is survived by her partner Laurie Schofield; sons Barry Griffin (Lisa Muise), Wolfville, Shawn Croft, Kentville; daughter Judy Griffin (Russell Tupper), Sheffield Mills; grandson Shamus Ward. Besides her parents she was predeceased by a son Kevin Griffin and her brother Donald. There will be no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held Friday October 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in Sylvia?¢s memory may be made to the Forest Hill Baptist Church, Forest Hill.
