Obituary of Edward Gene Henderson

HENDERSON, Edward Gene - Ed쳌 - 68, Wolfville passed away October 22, 2010 at Valley Regional Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Wolfville he was a son of Edith Henderson, Berwick and the late Frank Henderson. Ed was employed as a millwright at CKF in Hantsport for 43 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #74, Wolfville. Ed was an avid hunter and fisherman. Ed?¢s first love was his family and friends after which came camping, darts and playing guitar, country music, children and dogs. It was Ed?¢s life and he lived it his way. Ed is survived by his wife Marilyn (Randall); daughter Cathy Cochrane (Rick Johnson), Wolfville; son Michael (Jill) Henderson, New Minas; brother Roy (Noreen) Henderson, Aylesford; sisters Ethyle Riawetz, Nanaimo, BC, Faye Weagle (James Stephens), Port Maitland, Kathryn Sangster, Port Maitland, Cheryl (Dwight) Rafuse, Hampton; granddaughter Alison Cochrane; grandson Barrett Cochrane; great grandson Nikko Hunter; many nieces and nephews. Besides his father Ed was predeceased by a son Paul; a sister Barbara Forsythe. In lieu of flowers donations in Ed?¢s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
