FROST (Thomas), Marilyn Joyce ?쳌 78, Port Williams, Kings Co., passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2010, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Marilyn was born in Port Maitland and was a daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Mae (Perry) Thomas. Marilyn was a member of Loyal Workers and was involved in many groups such as Girl Guides. She loved playing Skip Bo and she enjoyed spending time in her cottage at Sunken Lake. She will be remembered as being a very sociable, loving lady who cherished every moment with her close friends and family. Aside from being an amazing housewife and mother; Marilyn was a gifted wedding cake designer and served many happy couples throughout the Annapolis Valley. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roy; sister, Audrey Thomas, Port Maitland. Marilyn will be sadly missed by her loving sons, Terry (Phoebe), St. John's, N.L.; Walter (Molly), Sydney; Arden (Donna), Port Williams; sisters, Olive Rose Penney, Wellington; Melba LeBlanc, Dartmouth; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, two step great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 19, at 2 p.m. in United Baptist Church, 1031 Main St., Port Williams. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be held in Port Maitland Beaver River Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
