Obituary of Margaret Catherine Melanson

MELANSON, Margaret Catherine (D?¢Ambrose) - 67, Middle Sackville passed away December 26, 2010 in the VG Hospital surrounded by family. Born in Brighton, Digby Co. She was a daughter of the late Reginald and Hilda (Boudreau) D?¢Ambrose. Margaret was a homemaker, she loved to cook, bake and knit. She was a loving Grandmother. Margaret is survived her husband Larry; daughters Lisa (Andrew Vaughan), Shubenacadie, Wanda Melanson (Jeff Partridge), Middle Sackville; sons David (Kathy), Digby, Darren, Middle Sackville; sisters Mildred (Austin Denton), Little River, Michelle (Danny Emon), Mount Pleasant; brothers Michael (Lorraine), Brighton, Malcom (Cheryl), Culloden, Martin (Wendy), Digby, Myles (Valerie), Digby; eight grand children and 4 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Bruce; brother Murray. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held Thursday December 30, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in St. Patrick?¢s Roman Catholic Church, Digby with Father Keith Billiard officiating. Interment will be in the Marshalltown Madonna Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Marshalltown Madonna Cemetery.
