WHITE, George Thomas - 67, Halifax/Waterville, Kings Co., passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, in the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville, with his friends, wonderful staff and case workers at his bedside. George was predeceased by his mother, Harriett Verge. Surviving are three brothers and three sisters in New Jersey, U.S.A. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Apple Tree Foundation, c/o Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, P.O. Box 128, 1349 County Home Rd., Waterville, N.S., B0P 1V0. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900).
