Grammy and of course to the rest of my family,
Itchr(39)s hard being so far away and not being able to hug you and cry with you. We had a very good Christmas and spent some good and bad times with Poppy during his last week. I remember when I was little and Poppy would be sitting in his chair and I would bring out all of my hair stuff and start brushing his hair (or what was left of it) and putting barrets and pony tails in his hair. He would just sit there and let me do it. Every morning we would go to Needs in Aylesford and he would have his cup of coffee and I would get a cup of hot chocolate and talk to the local farmers and spend hours down there and after we would go to the "candy store" and he would give me a toonie and Ichr(39)d get excited because that was 200 pieces of penny candy. Ichr(39)ll never forget you, you were more of a father to me and I love you and miss you so much. Youchr(39)ll never be forgotten as long as these memories are with me. XOXOXOXOXOXOX

To the family of the Late Lorne Leroux
I would like to offer my condolences to a great family that I knew many years back. I remember Mr. Leroux very well and would stop to speak to him when I was bicycling in Hubbards and he was operating his vegetable stand. I would ask him how his family was doing and he would talk about his family with pride. I also remember the hospitality of the Leroux family when I used to "hang out" at their place in Mill Cove. All good memories.

To Dianne, Michael, Michelle and Shawn and families, I remember your father during my visits to your house in Mill Cove (on and off base) as a child. I always remembered him cracking some joke, especially with Shawn and always had a smile on his face. Although I have not seen him in years, these memories seem like yesterday. My sincere condolences for the loss of your Dad and husband. May you always remember the good times and may it bring a smile to your face. Tracy Young

We just wanted you to know we were thinking of you at this sad time. We donchr(39)t know any other couple who enjoyed each others company as much as you and Lorne did. He was a sweet man, and will be truly missed by all his family and friends. Even though we know from the time we first get married that one of us has to leave first it doesnchr(39)t make it any easier when the time actually comes. I know Brennan was proud to call him his Poppy and will treasure all the memories of hockey games and everything else they did together. Hopefully being surrounded by your family will help you get through this sad time.
