Dear Les,
Please accept my deepest regrets on the passing of Sharon. She was indeed a remarkable women and I enjoyed very much working with her especially with regard to her beloved Black Loyalist Heritage Society. I was so sorry to miss the service but I was in Toronto at the time. Her drive to involve all citizenry as agents of change will be profoundly missed but she left a legacy of activism for others to follow and that is a vital part of her legacy. Sincere condolences,Jim Morrison

Dear Family of Dr. Sharon Oliver,
Please accept my condolences on your loss.
I found comfort in the hope offered in the Bible for our loved ones at Psalm 37:29 which says: "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it."
We are assured that when the earth is cleansed of wickedness, and it is restored to a paradise like the Garden of Eden as God originally purposed, our loved ones will return to life on earth in good health. (Isaiah 33:24)
John 5: 28, 29 tells us that "...The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out ..."
In the Lordchr(39)s Prayer that most of us pray, we ask for Godchr(39)s Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Then there will be no more sorrow or pain as we are promised at Revelation 21: 4. It reads in part, "... He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.ââ?¬ÃÂ
I hope these words bring you a measure of solace in your time of loss.
You may also find comfort in the message contained in the pamphlet ââ?¬Ã
?When Someone you Love Dies.âàI would be glad to send it to you free of charge or obligation.
Sincerely,
Sandra Sullivan

I tried sending this once and I donchr(39)t think it went through, so this is a second stab at it. Reading Sharonchr(39)s obituary it is obvious that she led a life of service and effected tremendous change for many people in this province. You must be very proud of what she achieved and the values that she held dear.

Dear Les,
Barb Bates e-mailed us this morning of Sharonââ?‰?¢s death. Please share our condolences with her mother and all your family.
We will always remember bubbly, cheerful Sharon and the many pleasant evenings playing bridge together: sharing our nostalgia of bringing up children in Thunder Bay and solving the worldââ?‰?¢s problems with a bottle of red wine and, when lucky, a piece of Sharonââ?‰?¢s famous cheesecake. She always warned us as we left your house, ââ?¬Ã
?Watch your step.âàThose were happy times in Wolfville.
At present, we are in a remote part of Portugal at Alanââ?‰?¢s twin brotherââ?‰?¢s cottage, surrounded by vineyards. We return to England for a week with Will, his wife and two daughters, and then to Canada on February 8th. Although we cannot be there Monday, our thoughts will be with you.

To Sharon`s family -
I have known Philip, Marcia and Sharon since the family first moved to Wolfville -- Marcia was a wonderful young girl in our Baptist Church.
It was a shock to read of Sharon`s passing. She has made such a contribution to the people of our province -- a role model of whom we can all be so proud. Heartfelt sympathy to all those who love her dearly from someone who held her in highest esteem. She has left a significant void, and we hope that it will be filled by someone as worthy.
Wolfville has lost such a fine citizen. We grieve. We lament for her family.
