Obituary of Robie Earl Vatcher

In loving memory of my dearest husband Robie Vatcher, age 63, passed away at the Digby General Hospital on February 10, 2011. Although he had not been feeling well for the past few weeks, his death came as a shock to his family and friends. Robie was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and moved to Digby in 1986 with his wife, the former Debbie Wambolt and continued his career in plumbing and heating. Robie is survived by his wife Debbie, two sons Eric of Yarmouth and Kyle who lives at home, and daughter Tara of Victoria, B.C. Left to mourn beside his wife and three children are his two sisters, Judy Neilson (husband Dobbie) of Fall River, Nova Scotia and Diane Yarrow (husband Rick) of Willkie, Saskatchewan Alberta along with many relatives and friends. Robie is predeceased by his father Eric Vatcher and mother Winnie. A service will be held at the Digby Legion, 20 Mount Street, Digby, Nova Scotia on February 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society. God saw he was getting tired And a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around him And whispered - Come with me.쳌 With tearful eyes we watched him suffer, And saw him fade away. Although we loved him dearly, We could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands put to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. - Unknown -
