WEATHERBEE, Georgina (Theriau) - 65, New Minas, passed away in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville on February 23, 2011. Born in Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Freda (Huphman) Theriau. Georgina was an avid Bingo player and loved playing in New Minas, and Greenwich; as well she took Bingo trips to New Brunswick. She was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Wolfville. Georgina is survived by her loving husband Calvin; daughter Debora (Steve) Christie, Bridgewater; step daughter Terri (Clark) Deveau, Yarmouth; son Arnold (Elizabeth) Whynot, Liverpool; sisters Betty (John) McKay, Amherst; Eleanor Sapp, Scarborough, ON; brothers Peter Theriau, Port Mouton; Bruce Theriau, Liverpool; niece Carla (Trenton) Simmons, New Minas; seven grandchildren; and one great grandson. Georgina will be greatly missed by her dear friends/brother in law, William (Jenny) Weatherbee. Besides her parents she is predeceased by her daughter Helena Potter, and her brother Roy Theriau. Donations in memory of Georgina may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home Chapel, Wolfville; in the Spring.
