Memories of Greg ---
Seeing the notice in the Saint John paper, brought back memories of Greg as I knew him. His kids grew up on Queen Street in West Saint John . His friends and cousins being the same age, we attended the same class at La Tour School. We were sometimes confused as brothers. Much later, I remember well meeting Greg in Halifax. Our two ships were tied up side by side, and we were completely surprised to meet one another back in 1944. I do keep in touch with Gregchr(39)s sister, Sue, as we visit the West Coast most every year. Francis, I am aware only that he lives in Bridgewater.

To Verna and family, Catherine and I send our heartfelt thoughts of sympathy to you all at the passing of your loved one, and our good friend since undefined when I started working with Hammy in Greenwood Fire Hall. We had many good laughs during our friendship and many good memories of our "Old Smokey"s " BBQs & Get togethers. Sadly all those are coming to a end as like this time with with the passing of a charter member.
He will be missed by all that ever knew him.
