Obituary of Reta Matilda Reeves

REEVES, Reta Matilda - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Reta Matilda Reeves; who passed away Wednesday, March 9 at Valley Regional Hospital. Born July 26, 1934 in the Forties, New Ross. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Vera (Hiltz) Veinot. Reta is survived by her loving husband Courtney Reeves, adopted daughter Kathy and grandchildren Heather and Carrie, sister-in-laws Rhoda Veinot, Sue Veinot, Madeline Walker, Elsie (Harold) French, Pansy Hiltz, Elva Bezanson, Myrna Reeves, Dot Reeves, Jean Reeves; brother-in-law Oran Reeves, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her infant daughter Maureen; brothers Dave and Roy; sister-in-laws Ella, and Della: Ã? brother-in-laws Clifford, Maurice, Percy, Basil, Melvin, and Foster. Reta thoroughly enjoyed playing cards, bingo and always looked forward to going for a drive in her car. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Visitation will be held at the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home in New Ross from 7-9 pm on March 11, 2011. Funeral service will take place at 2 pm Saturday, March 12, 2011 in the St. Augustine?¢s Anglican Church in the Forties with Rev. Robert Brush officiating followed by interment in the St. Augustine Cemetery, Forties.
