Obituary of Darlene Rose Laplante

LAPLANTE, Darlene Rose (Melanson) - 37, passed away on March 16, 2011 in the Digby General Hospital. Born in Digby she was the daughter of Kathleen (Fredericks) and the late Sydney Melanson. Besides her mother Darlene is survived by her husband James, Digby; son Taylor, Digby; brothers Brian, Plympton; John, Plympton; David, Plympton; and sister Betty, Vancouver. She was predeceased by her father Sydney, Brother Edward, and sister Carolyn. There will be a visitation held at the Plympton Baptist Church, 61 French Road, Plympton, NS on Tuesday March 22, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. from where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2011 at 2 pm with Reverend Donald Robertson officiating. Private family burial will be held at the Plympton Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a Memorial Fund set up for Darlene at the Digby Scotiabank account # 502030043184.
