BIGGS, Gladys Curry (Allen) - 92 formerly of Grand Pre, Kings County, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2011 in the Evergreen Home for Special Care, Coldbrook, Kings County. Born on Boot Island she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Jean (Giles) Allen. Gladys is survived by daughters, Elianor Kennie, Kentville; Linda (Richard) Burrell, Quispamsis, NB; sons William - Bill쳌 (Elizabeth), Melanson; Henry (Marlene), Melanson; sisters Sybil Gertridge, Gaspereau; Sheena (Wylie) Atwell, Grand Pre; grandchildren Jim, Bruce (Carol Ann) Kennie; Christopher and Meredith Burrell; Amy (Jeffrey) Rose, Adam, Jonathan, Jennifer (Albert) Whittaker, Emily and Evan Biggs; Janice and Robert Biggs; great grandchildren, Zachery and Cody Kennie; Danny and Dale Kennie; and Cameron Rose. Besides her parents Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Henry James; sisters Margaret Atwell; Winifred England; brothers Joseph; Fred; Jack; Gordon; Gerald; George; and Richard. There will be a visitation held at the Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium, 568 Main Street, Wolfville, NS, B4P 1E7 on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 7-9pm. On Thursday March 24, 2011 at 1:30pm there will be a Meet and Greet with reception also held at the Serenity Funeral Home & Crematorium followed by a Graveside Committal Service in the Lower Horton Cemetery, Grand Pre; with Reverend Gary Manthorne officiating.
