VEINOTTE (Corkum), Ethel Viola - Berwick/Hammonds Plains. It is with great sadness that we, the family of Ethel Viola Veinotte, announce her passing at the age of 82 on Saturday, March 26, 2011, in the Halifax Infirmary, QE II, Halifax. Born on June 17, 1928, in Church Lake, (Upper Cornwall) Lunenburg Co., she resided in Berwick, for 55 years with her husband and children. Ethel was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She leaves behind her four loving children, Mona (Bob) Wallace, Berwick; Phillip (Ann) Veinotte, Halifax; Marilyn (Brad) Wagner, Harmony; Darlene Veinotte, Hammonds Plains. She will be greatly missed and always cherished by grandchildren, Heather, Cristopher, Michel, Erin, Alyson, Robert, Krista, Reid, Mitchell and Jacob; great-grandchildren, � Ashley, Ryan, Andrew, Ava, Mackenzie, Kamryn, Isaac and Tatum; half-brother, Gerald Corkum, Midville Branch.� Mom was predeceased by our dad, Claude Russell Veinotte; parents, Rodney and Jenny Corkum; brothers, Lamert (in infancy) Percy, Roland; half-brothers, Glen Corkum, Douglas Jefferson; step-mother, Laura Corkum; sisters-in-law, Daisy Gray, Evelyn Whynot and Grace Veinotte; brothers-in-law, Percy and Perry Veinotte, Paul Zinck, Earl Wentzell, Hank Whynott.� There will be no visitation. Memorial service for Ethel will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday March 29, in the Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Rev. Linda Winton officiating, with Interment in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, QE II Foundation or a charity of your choice.
