SHERMAN, Catherine Almira (Greencorn) - 90, of Steam Mill, passed away at the Valley Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 7, 2011. Born in Canso, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Eliza (Carrington) Greencorn. Catherine is survived by her sons John (Sandra), Steam Mill; Bill (Bonnie), Canning; David (Thelma), Pereau; brothers Alton Greencorn; Curtis (Marion) Greencorn; Cecil (Leona) Greencorn; sisters Isabell Bennett; Gertrude Carter; brother-in-law Lawrence; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Besides her husband Maurice she is predeceased by her sisters Florence Casey; Cora DeAdder, brother-in-laws Leo; Emett; sister-in-law Viola; grandchildren Michael; David John; David Michael; and Julia. Cremation has taken place. Donations in Catherine?¢s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
