IRVINE, Ronald Dean - 89, of Berwick, Kings Co., formerly of Grafton, Kings Co., passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, in the Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Wolfville he was a son of the late Frederick and Elsie (Murphy) Irvine. He had been a member of the Grafton United Baptist Church and former member of the Waterville and District Volunteer Fire Department. Ronald farmed for most of his life in Grafton and spent the last four and a half years in the Mountain Lea Lodge, Bridgetown and the Grand View Manor, Berwick. Surviving are his sister, Jean Irvine, Berwick; brothers, Bernard (Shirley) Irvine, Berwick; Lewis (Lillian) Irvine, Hantsport; nephews, Randy (Pat) Irvine, Grafton; Brian Irvine, Black River Lake; nieces, Wanda (Alec) McGillivray, Edmonton, Alta.; Sheila (Randy) Veinotte), South Berwick; Brenda (Jamie) Simpson, Hantsport. He was predeceased by a sister, Doris Irvine; nephew, Gregory Irvine. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. Funeral service for Ronald will take place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 23, in Serenity Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900). Rev. Dr. Judith Saunders officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the Grand View Manor or to any charity.
